1. It is the most extensively used critical component in the entire LED display, with several thousand to tens of thousands of LED chips per square meter.
2. The LED chip determines the main body of the display's optical performance, directly impacting the audience's evaluation of the screen.
3. The LED chips constitute the largest proportion of the overall cost of the LED electronic display, ranging from 30% to 70%.

How to distinguish the quality of LED display chips:

1. Inspect the solder joints: Genuine LED chip manufacturers use Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and reflow soldering to produce chips.

2. Examine FPC quality: Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) can be of two types - rolled copper and laminated copper. Rolled copper FPC will have visible protruding copper foil at the connection with the solder pad.

3. Check cleanliness: LED chips produced using SMT technology exhibit excellent surface cleanliness, showing no impurities or stains.

4. Examine the chip and production process: To differentiate the quality of chips and production processes, specialized aging and testing equipment is required. Performing a 24-hour or longer high-current aging test and measuring the luminous intensity decay of LEDs from different manufacturers will reveal the one with the least decay, indicating better quality.
